| Guyver set the empty glass on the table, sighing softly. He glanced about the room, before charming a botle of firewhisky into his hand. He filled his cup with the liquid, then Desdemona's. He smiled, clinked his glass against hers, and gulped down the burning liquid. "Sounds quite fun, love," he chuckled before filling his glass once more. | |

| More people had gradually trickled in, and with a slight start Rebecca realized how much fuller the ballroom had become. It was still a meager amount of people for such a large hall, but the party would hopefully become more lively. Bonnie wandered off to greet a raven-haired boy who Rebecca recognized as Harry Potter. She had an urge to go meet the famous boy, but refrained, figuring that he had enough attention from the general public. Instead, she meandered to the drinks table, as it seemed that the purple clad girl was occupied. Two loud cracks sounded as identical redheaded twins apparated into the room. Rebecca blinked in surprise as she realized that one of them was missing an ear. They seemed pretty jovial, with mischievous grins plastered on their faces. She poured herself a Butterbeer, and looked up to see three new people enter. A girl who appeared to be related to the twins, an older woman who was probably a new professor, and a pale skinned boy standing awkwardly in the corner.
The woman and a man, probably her date, approached the drinks table, and Rebecca shifted uncomfortably. Draco re-entered the room, followed by platters of delicious smelling food. She inhaled deeply, feeling her mouth salivate. She noticed a dark-haired boy with a plate of cheese covered chips. Muggle food? She thought in surprise. She hurried over to the table and smiled. There was indeed muggle food being served. She grabbed a plate of nachos, as well as a bit of fried rice. Her mouth watered at the familiar food, and she looked for a table to eat at. With a surge of courage, she walked towards the dark-haired boy. Maybe he was a Muggle-born as well? "Hey... Mind if I sit here?" She asked softly, shifting awkwardly. | |

| Jacob pulled her gently towards the center of the dance floor, where a pair of Slytherin students were dancing. He leaned in close to her ear and whispered as he moved. "Put your left hand on my shoulder. I'll guide your right one." He placed his hand on her side and extended his left arm, the one holding her hand, outwards, keeping his elbows bent. "Mirror my movements" He breathed. He stepped forward a little with his left foot. "Step back a little with your right foot." He prompted. He had a sudden flashback to a well lit, high-roofed ballroom. Everywhere you looked, there was a well dressed couple spinning and smiling along to the quartet playing on a raised platform. Now that is how you dance. He thought , slightly wistfull, remembering the elaborate and formal parties his family had either held or attended. | |
