History:Mimi Sinclair grew up in muggle London in a four bedroom modern apartment. Her parents made a substantial living as muggle doctors and worked at the biggest hospital in London.
Her Nana lived with them as well. Mimi adored her Nana from the first day she was born, Mimi has been nearly attached to her Nana's side.

Mimi's parents spend nearly all their time at work. During their free time, they work extra hours, claiming to do so for Mimi, so she never has to want for anything. What her parent's failed to realize is that all Mimi ever wanted was their love and affection. What they lacked in love, her Nana made up for tenfold.

Every day, Nana would take Mimi to the library, and Mimi would return with her arms filled with books. Every night before bed when Nana tucked her in, they would make up stories called The Adventures of Mimi and Nana.

When her parents failed to recognize Mimi's 10th birthday, they tried to make up for it by turning the fourth bedroom into a miniature library. When Mimi got her letter for Hogwarts, she filled the library with as many magical books and supplies she could find and spent many hours locked up in the room.

Nearing the end of the summer holidays, her Nana started to get sick from old age. Mimi never left her side for 4 days until her Nana finally died peacefully in her sleep. Mimi is heartbroken over her loss. She tries to hide it but the fact that she is frequently seen crying isn't missed by most. And the fact the she seems to writing letters that she doesn't send is mysterious. And why does her pillow seem to be getting bigger every night?

What everyone doesn't know is that Mimi writes to her Grandmother every day, And because she has nowhere to send the letters, she stuffs them in her pillowcase, hoping no one finds out. What would people think if they found she was writing to a dead person?!

Appearance:
Long silky black curls that cascade down her back. ((Think of Bellatrix Lestrange hair, only not frizzy and just as crazy!))
Pale skin, thin frame, bright lime green eyes that seem to grow brighter with strong emotions such as anger, fear, or sadness.
Her clothes are nice quality, a regular outfit would usually pertain a black or grey woolen pencil skirt, opaque tights, usually black in color, a white silk blouse, and occasionally a grey sweater or sweater vest. Mary Jane patent leather heels are also wore in either black or oxford style black and white. She also wears black glasses that actually make her look adorable instead of geeky, sort of geeky-chic!
Mimi's long hair is usually worn down, but f she is working on something that needs undivided attention, her hair can normally be seen in a bun with a muggle pencil stuck through it.

Personality:
Mimi is a hard worker, loyal friend and extremely shy at first. She does stutter when she meets new people but after awhile, her strong mind becomes apparent as her stutter fades away. Even though she may get made fun of, it doesn't bother her. She never makes fun of anyone, and usually acts as a mother figure for the younger students.
