History: Harry's history is something he prefers not to talk about. His parents, as many already know, were killed by none other than Lord Voldemort himself when Harry was just a child. He was left only with a scar in the shape of a lightning bolt to remind him that his past was very much real. Time passed and years were spent living with his relatives, the Dursleys. That was torture for him. When he was of age he received the letter from Hogwarts and his adventures began. Years flew by as he battled giant snakes and spiders, found and destroyed Horcruxes, and eventually dueled Voldemort and killed him.

Despite Voldemort being dead, Harry is still plagued by nightmares in which Voldemort is very much alive. They usually result in a screaming Harry Potter waking everyone up in the middle of the night. He now owns his own Flat, previously owned by Sirious Black.

Appearance: Harry has his father's perpetually untidy black hair, his mother's bright green eyes, and a lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead. He is rather tall skinny with a thin face and knobbly knees, and he wears round eyeglasses. His scar was the only thing he liked about his own appearance.

Personality: Harry is strongly guided by his own conscience, and has a keen feeling of what is right and wrong. Harry is forced to make his own decisions from an early age on. He does make mistakes but in the end, he does what his conscience tells him to do. Harry's two worst flaws are anger and occasional arrogance, but that Harry is also innately honourable. He's not a cruel boy. He's competitive, and he's a fighter. He doesn't just lie down and take abuse. But he does have native integrity. He's a normal boy but with those qualities most really admire. For the most part, Harry shows humility, often downplaying his achievements; though he uses a litany of his adventures as examples of his maturity. Harry has the ultimate strength, which not even Voldemort possessed: the acceptance of the inevitability of death.


RP Sample: Harry thrashed and hissed, screaming out obsenities as he slept. Another nightmare plagued him. His nights were spent like this, screaming and waking the neighboors as Kreacher apparated to his room in hopes to wake him and settle his nerves with a well needed cup of tea. Harry groaned as the nightmare continued to unfold. He was in a rather dirty looking room. The walls were concreate as was the floor. The only thing in the room was a small white rug, splattered with what he assumed to be blood. He heard screaming from the room next to his, glancing over and peering through the small hole covered in bars. It was Ron, someone was hitting him with the cruciatus curse over and over again. He could see the fear prickling under rons skin, assuming someone had raised a wand to hit him again. It stayed that way for what seemed like ages, but Ron soon began to relax as much as he could since he was chained to the wall. Footsteps sounded outside of Harry's door which caused him to flinch. The door quickly flung open, and Voldemort stepped through the small space, grinning wickedly as he held his wand, pushing it into Harry's throat. Luckily Kreacher had heard Harry's screaming and apparated into the room, waking his master swiftly, holding out a cup of tea. Kreacher normally was the creepiest house elf known to man, but when it came to his master he felt nothing but sympathy. Harry swallowed down the sweetened tea Kreacher had brought him, smiling at the elf before drifting back to sleep.

Yeah yeah, she's doing great. She's got a brace on her leg but she's deffinatley doing better. How've you been mate?

Been wonderful! Happy to hear your mums doing better, I thought shed be a goner, glad its only a broken leg.

Tell me about it, I thought she'd be a goner to, lucky as hell she is. If the branch had landed a bit closer she would have been crushed.
