Number of family members or friends living in the home: 1 (Desdemona's parents live in their own mansion; they simply helped buy her a new one so she could live closer to her new job.)

Why should we allow you to own a home: Desdemona is a fully functional adult and member of the Wizarding world, having a job and needing her own place to stay. She won't just settle for any old place, though, she designed her mansion on her own and made sure that the building went absolutely flawlessly, adding her own touches here and there.

House/Manor description: With many hidden passageways and rooms, there is no way of counting exactly how many there are in this Gothic-style mansion. There are grand towers and windows that allow Desdemona to look over her huge, green yard that dissolves into forest; her favourite place to explore.

Desdemona's bedroom is black and red with a large four-poster bed with maroon hangings, a red carpet, and black sheets. The ceiling is bewitched like Hogwarts' and takes on the appearance of the sky outside and when night falls, there are big, velvety curtains that Desdemona can draw as she lights candles and incense and gets ready for the night. It is connected to a grand bathroom with a hot tub-sized bath and granite countertops. Desdemona only settles for the highest quality and prides herself in how visually appealing her house is.
