Practice Session

Draco practically ripped his wand from his pocket as he approached the deadly tree. It seemed to feel their presence, its branches bending and twisting as the tree came to life. Slamming a thick bulbous branch down right in front of them. Draco hissed as he jumped back, whipping Blair back with him as he pointed his wand at the tree."Stupify!" He rasped out, a light shooting from his wand hitting the tree, paralyzing it. He glanced over at he girl, making sure she was alright before stepping closer to the frozen mass.

Blair too had whipped out her wand, and was just about to shout the same spell as Draco when a branch whipped across her face and cut her cheek. She was temporarily stunned, but regained her wits as her companion Stunned the tree. "I'm fine, I'm fine," she said, disregarding her still-bleeding cheek. "What is your plan here? Why Stun what we were supposed to be practicing with?" Blair looked at Draco curiously.

Dracos expression softened as he stared hard at her bleeding cheek. "So that dosnt happen" He pressed his wand gently against the wound, silently casting a healing spell before taking his shirt off. He bundled his wand in the fabric, transforming into a lion as the rest of his clothing seemed to melt into him as he did so. His tail flickered as he glanced back. Waiting for her to change forms as well as keeping a close eye on the willow tree.

A delicious shudder ran through Blair's body as Draco's wand touched her face, but she didn't let him know that he affected her like that. "Thank you," she said softly, smiling at him. She watched him transform and could feel the cat in her beginning to tug at her seams, begging to be let out. So she obeyed and let her animal form take over, the change happening quickly. She stretched once she was in her cat form, her rump in the air, her tail flicking from side to side as she got used to her animal body once more.

The spell draco had cast on the tree wore off qiickly, its branches slowly snapping to life. The willow took note of Draco first since he was closer and started bending towards him, branches popping and crackig as they moved. Draco roared, his claws extending as he slashed at one of the faster moving branhes coming towards him. It curled back and seemed to hiss, snapping forwards and almost into Dracos side but he drew his front paws forwards to meet the large wooden tentacle, catching it with his paws and latching on.

Dracos head whipped around as a loud crack sounded off. Seeing the female fly off landing a ways away. He roared and went to dart to her side, only to be dragged back. A slender branch had wrapped around his leg, dragging him back towards the thrashing bundle. A thick bulbous branch came crashing down against his captured leg sending a wave of pain and heat through his body. He yelled and screached in pain as his transformation was dragged out of him. Shirtless and bloody he scampered over to his bundled up wand. He hadnt even looked at his leg before sneering and silently casting the killing curse on the old tree, specificaly he branh that hit him. That particular stretch of wood snapped and splintered off leaving the tree hissing and very much angry at the blond haired wizard. Draco stumbeled over to where the feline landed, prodding at her side gently."Are you alright?" He hissed out, gritting his teeth as he tried to ignore the aching sensation creeping up his spine. He could feel his leg wasn't badly broken, only cracked though that still wasn't good. Healing it by himself would still cause a good deal of pain.

Blair struggled to catch her breath for a few moments after she had been hit and immediately turned her concern to Draco. He seemed to be more severely injured than she was. She transformed back into her human self and whipped out her wand, ignoring the cut in her side that had ripped her shirt, exposing soft, pale skin. "I'm fine, are you going to be okay? We should really get you to the Hospital Wing," Blair's green eyes reflected concern as she looked at Draco. She made her way over to his side and pulled his arm over her shoulder, trying to help support him. "Come on, let's go." She looked up at the castle, hoping that she could help him walk that far. Her side hurt and, though she was ready to adventure once more, she knew they should get fixed up before doing anything else.

Draco yelped and wobbled a bit, slumping down onto the ground. He hissed and swore under his breath as he stared down at his leg. It was indeed quite wounded and bleeding, though not as much as it should have been."No! Pomfrey's a nasty old hag and her method of curing hurts worse." Draco flinched, remembering the nights he'd heard Harry screaming in the hospital room, after drinking Pomfrey's bone growing juice after that dim witted teacher spelled the bones in his arm away. Draco quickly sunk his wand into the open wound, biting back on his tongue as he silently spelled it to heal itself, the process was slow but the pain had turned to a sort of numb tingly feeling. He watched the small cracks in the bones heal first, then watched as his flesh slowly oozed together until only a unsightly pink scar remained. This didn't bother him though, it would be gone as well in several days, and it wasn't like anyone gawked and ogled over him anyways. Nobody would notice.

Blair sat down next to Malfoy and watched him heal his leg, her mouth slightly open and her green eyes fixed on his leg. The scar didn't seem that bad any longer, and her hand unconsciously reached out and traced the line that he had created. "Well done," she said, her eyes flicking back up to Draco's face. "Does it still hurt very much?" Blair blushed slightly at the closeness of their bodies. The bleeding from her side had stopped and she took no notice of it any longer, though it still stung a little when she inhaled and exhaled.

"Want me to heal that...?" Draco questioned, staring down at the gash on her side. Before she answered he grabbed his dirtied shirt, handing it to her. "Might want to put this on when I'm done, I can mend wounds but i cant fix clothing." He smirked a bit, casting a cleansing charm to clean both them and his shirt. He lifted hers carefully, peeling it from her wound. He made sure not to lift it any more than necessary, pressing his want against the torn tissue before looking up at her cautiously.

Blair winced slightly as Draco pulled her shirt away from the wound on her side. "Yes, please." She liked what he had done and it was easy for her to trust him, even with her skin. "Thank you very much," she said shyly, a light blush dusting the bridge over her nose as she felt Draco's skin brush up against hers.

"Youre welcome." Draco smiled sweetly, his own pale gray orbs scanning across her would as he cast another silent healing spell, watching her flesh close up. When the process had finished he huffed, flopping onto his back."Whats the number one thing you'd like to see here at Hogwarts? Mine was the Forbidden Forest...never been there, never will go there. Ive heard weasel and potter talking about their adventures in that ruddy place. Crossed that damned forest off my list when I heard them talking about the giant spiders" He chuckled at the memory, at how the ikkle ronniekins face had turned green at the mention of that forest weeks after the run in with those beasts. He hated to admit it but he rather missed that pair, since the war they hadn't returned, and Draco had only seen Harry for a brief moment at his trial for being a Death Eater. He still had that bloody dark mark though Voldemort was long gone. He should be in Azkaban with his mental father, but since he had been forced into being a Death Eater they had dismissed him with nothing, not even a month of community service. He remembered Ron again almost turning green, but Harry had looked oddly pleased, which made Draco's stomach churn. He hated when Potter looked happy. Though he missed the duo nonetheless, duo only because he didn't consider Hermione a part of the team, she was just like a sidekick or something only the brains behind the two. He had been lost in the memories, completely forgetting he had company.

"That's a good question," Blair said, thinking. Her side felt better and she absentmindedly stroked it, feeling the slightly puckered skin that had been her wound. "The Forest would be the most fun..." she trailed off, her mind beginning to stray. She had spent a great deal of time exploring the castle, but she had never found one specific place... "How about the Room of Requirement? I've read about it but have never actually seen it." She wasn't sure if Draco would tire of her company, but if he was willing to adventure with her, Blair was not one to turn that down.

Dracos wicked smirk came back as he stood up in a flash, extending his arm out towards the girl."Shall we then?" he said with a waggle of his eyebrows that would make even the remaining Weasley twin flush. He hadn't been to the room of requirements since, well since potter had rescued his sorry arse. For several reasons not known to anyone save harry and himself. Harry had confused the living hell out of Draco that day and he hadn't the nerve to return alone.

Blair smiled and took Draco's hand, liking the feeling of his skin against hers. "I assume you know where that is, too," she said. The boy had known exactly what she wanted to know so far, so why would he not come through now? "Where is it, anyway? How do you get in?" Blair loved figuring out secrets, and Hogwarts was her favourite places to explore. This would be a big experience for her, and her smile was the biggest it had been all day.

."It is a room that a person can only enter when they have real need of it. Sometimes it is there, and sometimes it is not, but when it appears, it is always equipped for the seeker's needs.. Its at the end of a Hallway that appears as a dead end. It doesn't even show on the marauders map. But I do know where it is and how to open it." Draco smiled, tugging her towards the castle.

"You sound like you swallowed a textbook," Blair remarked as she followed Draco to the castle. She didn't mind him tugging her along, and was still quite excited to see this room. "We technically don't have a 'need' for it, though... will it open for us?" She wondered aloud.
